My Experience

I got diagnosed with Keratosis Pilaris a year ago. It ruined my life because my face was red and blotchy all the time. I hated it because some people would look at me different. They thought I was having an allergic reaction half of the time, and I felt really annoyed and finally got tired of it all. I tried every single type of makeup I could to cover it up. I had to get rid of the red blotches on my face before it made me go crazy. Finally, I found the right product.

My Thoughts

When I used the NYX CC Cream for the first time, I thought it wasn't going to work. I put some on my fingers and slowly rubbed it in. The green pigment did throw me off a little, but I did give it a try. I didn't notice any difference for the first few minutes. I left the bathroom and waited for about 15 minutes. I went back into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I was shocked because it worked! The shade of the color was a little bit too dark, but it worked! I ended up exchanging it for a lighter shade of green. There are 2 different shades. There is a dark green for darker skin and there is a lighter green for lighter skin. My skin ended up being light, so I used the lighter green. Green counter acts red. This shade was perfect. I have used this product ever since I have found it. I love it and it works!

Compared to Other Products

I have searched and have tried all the products that might work for redness. Some products leave your face green. I had no idea these were called face primers. I tried expensive products like Clinique and Bare Minerals. You can not just put cover up on. You have to find something that works for redness. I have also tried the redness solutions through IT Cosmetics. None of them worked. They all were too thick and hard to come off. Instead of wasting money, I ended up returning all of the products I have tried. Some places will allow you to do this and some won't, so be careful who you buy from. NYX CC Cream is a skin correcting cream. Other products that are similar skin correcting products, do not do the job at all. The other products that I have tried are similar as well, but they do not work. The redness was still there and it never went away! There are some BB Creams I have tried, but none of them worked for my red blotchy face.
