So, according to @sophieemand (love the red hair!), she was able to create this 3-in-1 look thanks to a product called Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez. Understood. I do think there is a bit of a workaround for this, though.
If money is tight and you don’t have an extra twenty bucks to spend on make-up right now (because the cost of gas is still kind of a trip), you can do this same thing with a tube of lipstick that you already own. I have a grandmother who used to do this all of the time.
The key is to go with a color that complements all three parts of your face — eyes, cheeks and lips — and then to not go overboard on the application. Matter of fact, if you want your face to look a little “glassy” (do you remember the glass skin trend that was really popular a few years back?), you can even pull this off with some clear lip gloss (just make sure that it’s not the kind that feels “tacky” whenever you apply it).
Whether you opt for a brand of make-up or a lipstick/lip gloss alternative, you now see how a “monotone" face can still be quite luminescent. Well done.
