A few months ago, I purchased some strappy sandals and when I tell you that I was HYPE about having them? Words truly cannot express. I pulled them out of the box, immediately put them on…and found myself instantly becoming frustrated. Why? For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out how to get the straps to stay just the way that I tied them.

Boy, do I wish I had @fabroc_’s hack months ago because it definitely would’ve spared me a lot of drama and trauma. Luckily, you don’t have to suffer like I did. Here ya go.

There are a few things that make this the ultimate strappy heels hack. First, if you own shoes that have really long straps, you now have an instant way to make them appear shorter. Secondly, if you’ve got plastic or patent leather ones, you don’t have to worry about them slippin ‘n slidin’ all over the place. Third, if like me, you have rather small ankles, now you can feel more secure in your shoes since the straps are “anchored” underneath your shoes. Yeah, I dig everything about this.

Just remember that ashy feet are the worst. At the same time, moisturizing them right before you put your “straps” on isn’t really the best move either. So, make sure that you lotion them up about 30 minutes before tying your straps up. That way, your feet won’t be moving all over the place and you can strut with the biggest attitude ever.
